After completing this continuing education course, nutrition professionals should be better able to:
- Describe the prevalence of chronic kidney disease (CKD) among the US population.
- Formulate specific dietary recommendations for each stage of CKD.
- Summarize the goals of dietary intervention in each stage of CKD.
- Recommend educational resources to clients and care team professionals.
