The Today’s Dietitian Continuing Education Learning Library (CELL) is a professional development resource from the nation’s leading independent trade publication for dietitians that provides Jointly Accredited (JA) continuing education credits online for RDs, DTRs, and other health care professionals.
In support of improving patient care, Great Valley Publishing Company is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
Great Valley Publishing Company’s continuing education activities also award credit for dietetics (CDR CPEU).
Joint Accreditation (JA) establishes the standards by which continuing education is planned by and for the health care team. This distinction is awarded to entities that have demonstrated compliance with the standards by the co-founding accreditors - the ACCME, ACPE, and ANCC - on behalf of the collaborating accreditors.
As a Jointly Accredited Organization, GVP is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit.
GVP also offers IPCE credits for learning and change. The IPCE credit designation identifies activities that are specifically designed to improve team collaboration and patient care.
