Understanding GLP-1 Receptor Agonists: A Comprehensive Overview for Health Care Professionals
GLP-1 receptor agonists have greatly changed the way chronic conditions like type 2 diabetes and obesity are managed.
This continuing education course offers an evidence-based overview of how these medications work, therapeutic benefits, and the potential challenges they may bring. Clinicians will gain practical tools to better support patients using GLP-1 therapies by navigating side effects, explaining how the medications work, and aligning MNT with treatment goals.
Course content appeared in the 2026 May/June issue of Today's Dietitian Magazine.
