2020–2025 Dietary Guidelines for Americans: New Recommendations for Expectant Moms, Infants, and Toddlers

Learning Objectives
After completing this continuing education course, nutrition professionals should be better able to:
- Differentiate nutrients of concern for pregnant and lactating women and babies aged 0–24 months.
- Counsel patients on foods that should be avoided or limited during pregnancy and lactation and for babies aged 0–24 months.
- Evaluate signs of readiness for infants to start complementary foods.
- Recommend programs to support healthful eating for pregnant women and children aged 0–24 months.
