Setting Clients up for Nutrition Success While Navigating the World of Weight Management
Weight loss continues to be a common concern that dietitians address with their clients frequently. There is a clear correlation between managing weight and healthy eating, but how do medications and surgical options for weight loss impact the role nutrition plays in helping people manage weight?
Join Dr. Neil Skolnik and Tyler Townsend, MS, RDN, LDN, on March 13, 2024, from 2-3 p.m. ET, as they deep dive into the world of weight loss and the impact dietitians can make as they strive to help clients meet their goals.
After completing this activity, nutrition professionals will be better able to:
- Detail the evidence base and updates related to medical and surgical options for weight management.
- Interpret the body of literature related to nutrition and weight management.
- Demonstrate appropriate uses of low- and no-calorie sweeteners (LNCS) as alternatives for added sugar.
