Recorded Webinar: Rethink Your Drink: Motivate Your Patients to Reduce Intake of Sugar-Sweetened Beverages

This webinar was presented on February 15, 2023.

Sugar-sweetened beverages (SSBs) are the leading source of added sugars in the American diet and a main contributor to excess calorie intake. With over 37 million people with diabetes, 96 million adults with prediabetes, and over 40% of adults with obesity, the need to “rethink your drink” to reduce added sugar intake is greater than ever.

Dietetics professionals play a key role in the prevention and management of diabetes and obesity through their expert nutrition knowledge and ability to facilitate positive health behaviors.  Join Holly Moran, MS, RD, LD, CDCES, on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, 2-3pm ET, as she shares simple swaps for SSBs and discusses important communication strategies RDs can use to motivate clients to achieve health goals while still enjoying their favorite drinks.
