Jointly Accredited Provider
In support of improving patient care, Great Valley Publishing Company (GVP) is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
Joint Accreditation (JA) establishes the standards by which continuing education is planned by and for the health care team. This distinction is awarded to entities that have demonstrated compliance with the standards by the co-founding accreditors - the ACCME, ACPE, and ANCC - on behalf of the collaborating accreditors.
Great Valley Publishing Company’s continuing education activities also award credit for dietetics (CDR CPEU). RDs and DTRs are to select activity type 102, "Activities Offered by Jointly Accredited Providers," in their Activity Log. Sphere and Competency selection is at the learner’s discretion.
