Additional Information
Neil Skolnik, MD, is an academic family physician who teaches residents and medical students as well as sees patients at Abington Family Medicine. He is a Professor of Family and Community Medicine at Temple University School of Medicine and Associate Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program at Abington Memorial Hospital. He has written and edited five books, published approximately 200 columns, articles, and essays, and given over 200 lectures. He currently coordinates educational podcasts for the American Diabetes Association, the Infectious Disease Society of America, and Family Practice and Internal Medicine News.
Tyler Townsend, MS, RDN, LDN, is a registered dietitian and the Associate Manager of Nutrition and Science Communications at Heartland Food Products Group, maker of Splenda®.
