Recorded Webinar: 2022 Medical Standards of Care in Diabetes

The live version of this joint Today’s Dietitian and Becky Dorner & Associates webinar webinar took place on the Becky Dorner & Associates website on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. ET.

Diabetes is a complex, chronic illness requiring ongoing education and support in order to reduce the risk of serious complications. Over 34 million adults have diabetes and approximately 88 million have prediabetes.

Lifestyle modification is the cornerstone of diabetes care and RDs are uniquely qualified members of the healthcare team and can guide those with prediabetes or diabetes towards better outcomes. As nutrition professionals, RDs must keep abreast of current guidelines to provide the best evidence-based and patient-focused care. Join Kathy Warwick, RDN, LDN, CDCES, as she provides an update on the American Diabetes Association’s 2022 Standards of Medical Care in Diabetes and focuses on current relevant guidelines for RDs involved in diabetes care.

Learning Objectives
