A growing number of individuals recovering from COVID-19 continue to experience persistent symptoms, particularly cognitive, psychiatric, and neurological impairments collectively known as Long COVID. Despite increasing recognition of these long-term effects, the underlying mechanisms responsible for these symptoms remain unclear. 

This presentation examines current research investigating brain abnormalities associated with Long COVID and explores the role of MRI in identifying structural and functional changes that may contribute to ongoing neurological dysfunction. The session will also discuss the evolving role of advanced neuroimaging in the assessment, monitoring, and future understanding of Long COVID-related brain changes.
