Stroke remains a critical challenge in radiology and healthcare, demanding swift and accurate diagnosis to optimize patient outcomes.  This course will explore the two primary types of strokes—hemorrhagic and ischemic—and their distinct causes, symptoms, and treatment pathways. We will also discuss the importance of time-sensitive interventions, such as clot-busting medications (tPA and Tenecteplase) and mechanical thrombectomy, particularly for ischemic strokes. The role of MRI and CT imaging in stroke diagnosis, the significance of the B-E-F-A-S-T acronym for early symptom recognition, and strategies to reduce Door-to-Needle (DTN) time will also be discussed.
 
Lastly, the integration of AI in analyzing imaging reports will be discussed as a transformative solution to enhance diagnostic accuracy and efficiency.
