MRI technologists are often the first professionals to recognize life-threatening pathology and workflow breakdowns during image acquisition. Drawing from real-world cases and national standards (ACR, ASRT, ARMRIT), Douglas Boyd, RT(MR)(ARMRIT), will review technologist-driven escalation protocols, MRI safety workflow optimization, and ethical decision-making when urgent intervention is required.
