Additional Information
Jean LaMantia, RD, is a registered dietitian in Canada and the U.S. with over 30 years’ experience helping people achieve their nutrition goals. She has researched and written four books on nutrition for cancer, lymphedema, and intermittent fasting: The Essential Cancer Treatment Nutrition Guide and Cookbook, The Complete Lymphedema Management and Nutrition Guide, Complete Intermittent Fasting and Complementary Therapies for Lymphedema. Jean also created The Cancer Risk Reduction Guide, a food and lifestyle resource to help cancer survivors reduce their risk of recurrence. Jean is the recipient of the Distinguished Practice Award from the Oncology Dietetic Practice Group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Jean speaks extensively on nutrition for cancer, lymphedema and lipedema. She is the creator of Lymphedema Nutrition School for patients and Lymphedema Nutrition for Health Professionals, an on-line self-study program to help other professionals feel confident discussing lymphedema nutrition with their patients.
